In February, 2007, I went to far West Texas with
Jon Kalb on a paleontological survey in the
Sierra Vieja lowlands for the Vertebrate Paleontology Laboratory
of the University of Texas/Texas Memorial Museum. He was looking for Eocene fossils exposed in the badlands of the Chihuahuan desert.
